Wind Power

Wind Turbines are an ideal alternative to conventional power sources for residential and light-industrial structures. We offer; Horizontal Axis Wind Turbines, Tower Systems, and Vertical Axis Wind Turbines – which are great for use in residential areas. Similarly to solar power systems, wind powered turbines are a practical energy sources, if you are interested in utilizing renewable energy technologies. Micro Hydro

Micro hydro is a term used for hydroelectric power installations that typically produce up to 100 kW of power. These installations can provide power to an isolated home or small community, or are sometimes connected to electric power networks. There are many of these installations around the world, particularly in developing nations as they can provide an economical source of energy without purchase of fuel. Micro hydro systems complement photovoltaic solar energy systems because in many areas, water flow, and thus available hydro power, is highest in the winter when solar energy is at a minimum. Micro hydro is frequently accomplished with a pelton wheel for high head, low flow water supply. The installation is often just a small dammed pool, at the top of a waterfall, with several hundred feet of pipe leading to a small generator housing. (http://en.wikipedia.org/)

Energy Storage Systems

Energy storage media are matter that store some form of energy at a later time to perform some useful operation. A device that stores energy is sometimes called an accumulator. All forms of energy are either potential energy (eg. chemical, gravitational or electrical energy) or kinetic energy (eg. thermal energy). A wind-up clock stores potential energy (in this case mechanical, in the spring tension), a battery stores readily convertible chemical energy to keep a clock chip in a computer running (electrically) even when the computer is turned off, and a hydroelectric dam stores power in a reservoir as gravitational potential energy. Ice storage tanks store ice (thermal energy) at night to meet peak demand for cooling. Fossil fuels such as coal and gasoline store ancient energy from sunlight. Solar Hot Water

As any home owner knows; domestic hot water is one of the biggest expenses on your home energy bill. This is due to the fact that the process of heating water through the use of electricity is incredibly inefficient. However, with our solar electric hot water heaters, we use an advanced new system to power heaters that function at a very low voltage, which means that they require far less electricity to power.
Pool and Hot Tub Heating

Similarly to the solar electric hot water heating system, the pool and hot tub heating systems use low voltage solar electric powered heaters to supply hot water to pools and hot tubs. When using solar power to heat these systems you can effectively eliminate electricity related costs. Using the same technology that is used to heat water inside your home, we can install systems that use the sun’s energy to heat your pool or hot tub.
Home Heating and Cooling
